Overview:
This series addresses two important trends: critical conversations in academic fields about nature, globalization, and culture–including constructive engagements among the natural, social, and human sciences; and intellectual-political conversations in social movements and among other nonacademic actors about environment and social change. Our objective is to establish a synergistic dialogue between these theoretical and political developments in the disciplines and in nonacademic arenas. We believe that this synergy is a sine qua non for thinking anew about the real promise of emergent ecologies and alternative socionatural worlds.
