This issue features a Small Axe discussion on the theme of “The Idea of hispanophone Caribbean Studies.” We have invited scholars who specialize in this region to help us think through the question of hispanophone Caribbean studies, both as a geopolitical area, and as an object of intellectual history--past, present, and future.
